国立台北科技大学(NTUT)は廣瀬明を名誉国際教授（2018 − 2020）に任命し、2018年6月14日（木）、その任命式典を行った。また、これに関連して、2018年6月12日（火）〜14日（木）に協定4大学の関係を中心に国立台湾海洋大学(NTOU)、国家宇宙センター(NSPO)、国立中央大学(NCU)、国立台北科技大学(NTUT)において、就任記念講演会を開催した。
Akira Hirose has been appointed Honorary International Chair Professor
of National Taipei University of Technology (NTUT) from June 2018 to May
2020 for his outstanding academic and research activities in the discipline
of wireless electronics, neural networks and remote sensing. NTUT held
the ceremony on 14 June 2018 in parallel to his memorial presentations
at National Taiwan Ocean University (NTOU), National Space Organization
(NSPO), National Central University (NCU) as well as NTUT on 12 to 14 June
2018.
